09:17 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were edging higher premarket Tuesday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) recently advancing by 0.3%.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 1% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 2.4% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 1.1% at $68.34 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 1.1% to $71.86 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 1.2% higher at $4.07 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Flowco ( FLOC ) shares were down 0.8% after the company reported a decline in Q4 earnings.
Natural Gas Services Group ( NGS ) shares fell 9% after the company reported higher Q4 net income and revenue that still missed analysts' expectations.
