09:24 AM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks fell premarket Thursday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) 0.9% lower recently.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 0.8% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 0.3% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 0.9% at $57.69 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 0.8% to $60.56 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 1.3% higher at $3.37 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
TC Energy ( TRP ) shares fell by over 1% after the company reported a decline in Q1 comparable earnings from continuing operations.
Antero Midstream ( AM ) shares were up 0.7% after the company reported higher Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.
Targa Resources ( TRGP ) shares were 0.5% lower after the company reported a decline in Q1 net income.
