09:21 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were gaining premarket Tuesday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) was up 0.2% recently.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was 0.2% higher and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was down 0.3%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.2% at $82.11 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.1% to $86.16 per barrel. Natural gas futures were up 0.2% at $1.792 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Matador Resources ( MTDR ) was over 3% lower after it priced an offering of about 5.3 million common shares for gross proceeds of about $347.3 million.
Woodside Energy Group ( WDS ) said it has completed the sale of a 10% non-operating participating interest in the Scarborough Joint Venture to LJ Scarborough for total proceeds of $910 million. Woodside Energy Group ( WDS ) was up 0.5% pre-bell.
Camber Energy ( CEI ) was up more than 1% after it reported a 2023 revenue of $32.1 million, up from $24 million a year earlier.
