09:22 AM EDT, 04/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks leaned lower premarket Wednesday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) fell by 1.5% recently.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 0.8% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 1.8% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 1.4% at $59.60 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 1.2% to $63.46 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 1.2% lower at $3.35 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
TotalEnergies (TTE) shares were down more than 1% after the company reported lower Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.
Hess (HES) shares declined by 0.4% after the company reported lower Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.
Northern Oil and Gas ( NOG ) shares were up 4% after the company reported higher Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.
