08:08 AM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were gaining pre-bell Monday, with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.31% higher recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 0.61%, and bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.51% lower.

Apollo Global Management ( APO ) was up 0.45% after the company said certain funds under its affiliates will acquire a majority stake in Panasonic Automotive Systems.
