03:25 PM EDT, 07/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were higher in late Monday afternoon trading with the NYSE Financial Index rising 1.1% and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) ahead 1.5%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index added 0.3%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) rose 0.4%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) spiked 4.7% to $63,659, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries climbed 4 basis points to 4.23%.

In corporate news, OneStream and a group of shareholders that includes KKR (KKR) are offering 24.5 million shares in its US initial public offering, the company said in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission Monday. KKR shares were rising 3.6%.
