The Philadelphia Housing Index added 0.6%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) climbed 0.4%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) increased 1.3% to $68,822, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 6.4 basis points to 4.296%.

In corporate news, Barclays ( JJCTF ) is mulling a return to Saudi Arabia with plans to expand in Riyadh, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Bloomberg reported, citing the bank's Chief Executive Officer C.S. Venkatakrishnan. Barclays ( JJCTF ) shares rose 0.8%.
