The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 0.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.5% lower.

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group ( MUFG ) shares were up over 3% after the company reported higher fiscal H1 earnings and increased its fiscal 2025 profit outlook.
