08:51 AM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were declining premarket Monday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.4% lower recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 1.5% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.2% higher.

Blackstone (BX) is evaluating a sale of Liftoff for over $4 billion including debt, Reuters reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter. Blackstone shares were down more than 1% pre-bell.

Although Titan's overall March quarter earnings exceeded analysts expectations, the slip in jewellery sales remain a concern, and therefore, CLSA reiterated 'sell' rating on the stock by raising the target price to Rs 855 from Rs 810. The company's share gains and agile responses to the challenges are encouraging but rise in the gold prices, subdued wedding demand and franchisee's financial health remains a concern, said CLSA report.
