08:57 AM EST, 01/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were steady premarket Thursday, with The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) inactive.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.2% higher.

Morgan Stanley ( MS ) shares were up over 2% after the company reported higher Q4 earnings and net revenue.
