09:03 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks declined premarket Tuesday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.1% lower recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.6% higher.

Synchrony Financial ( SYF ) shares declined by nearly 5% after the company said it expects 2025 net revenue of $15.2 billion to $15.7 billion, down from the $16.13 billion net revenue it reported for 2024.
