09:06 AM EST, 02/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks declined pre-bell Wednesday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.8% lower recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 2.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 2.3% higher.

Upstart Holdings ( UPST ) shares were up more than 20% after the company said it swung into the black in Q4 as revenue surged. The company also issued a 2025 revenue guidance above analysts' expectations.
