The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 2.7% lower and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was up 2.7%.

Ares Management ( ARES ) shares were more than 3% lower after the company reported Q2 after-tax realized income below analysts' expectations.
