08:56 AM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were advancing pre-bell Thursday, with The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) up 0.3%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 0.7% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 0.7%.

The Toronto-Dominion Bank ( MLWIQXX ) shares were up more than 3% after the company reported higher fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue.
