The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 0.1% lower and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was inactive.

Invesco ( IVZ ) shares were up more than 1% after the company reported preliminary assets under management of about $2.064 trillion at the end of August, up 1.9% from July.
