The Philadelphia Housing Index was shedding 0.3%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was adding 0.3%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was increasing 2.1% to $113,864, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was dropping 3 basis points to 4.05%.
In economic news, the producer price index fell 0.1% in August, after a downwardly revised 0.7% increase in July, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Wednesday. A Bloomberg-compiled survey forecast a 0.3% gain. Annually, producer prices growth decelerated to 2.6% from 3.1%, lagging analysts' estimate for a 3.3% increase.
In corporate news, a group led by BlackRock's ( BLK ) Global Infrastructure Partners subsidiary secured a $10 billion financing package to back its investment in Saudi Aramco's natural gas infrastructure at the Jafurah project, Bloomberg reported. BlackRock ( BLK ) shares rose 0.3%.
