The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 1.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.4% lower.

Huntington Bancshares ( HBAN ) shares were down more than 4% after the company said it has agreed to acquire Cadence Bank ( CADE ) in a 100% stock transaction that values Cadence at $7.4 billion. Shares of Cadence Bank ( CADE ) were up nearly 4% pre-bell.
