09:04 AM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were declining pre-bell Wednesday, with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.8% lower.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 2.1% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 2.5% higher.

Banco Santander (SAN) shares were up nearly 3% after the company reported Q3 earnings that topped analysts' expectations and higher revenue.
