03:25 PM EST, 11/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were higher in late Friday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) each adding 0.4%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was up 0.1%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) increased 0.9%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) climbed 1.8% to $103,146, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was slightly lower at 4.09%.

In corporate news, Huntington Bancshares ( HBAN ) agreed to buy some divisions of KKR-owned (KKR) Janney Montgomery Scott, Bloomberg reported. Huntington shares were up 1%, and KKR rose 1.2%.
