The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 0.9% lower and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was up 0.9%.

Prosperity Bancshares ( PB ) shares were down more than 5% after the company said it has agreed to acquire Stellar Bancorp ( STEL ) and its subsidiary, Stellar Bank, in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at about $2 billion. Stellar Bancorp ( STEL ) stock was up more than 15% pre-bell.
