The Philadelphia Housing Index was rising 0.6%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was advancing 0.3%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was increasing 0.9% to $71,159, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 1.2 basis points to nearly 4.29%.
In corporate news, PayPay ( PAYP ) , a SoftBank-backed company, is open to a dual listing with presence on Tokyo's bourse, its CEO Ichiro Nakayama, was cited as saying in multiple media reports. "While we do not rule out the possibility of a dual listing in the future, there are no specific plans or decisions at this time," a PayPay ( PAYP ) spokesperson told MT Newswires in an e-mailed comment Friday. The comment follows the digital payments company's $880 million trading debut in New York on Thursday, after it priced its IPO of 55 million American depositary shares at $16 each. PayPay ( PAYP ) shares jumped past 17% in recent trading.
