The Philadelphia Housing Index was falling 1.8%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was decreasing 0.2%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 4.1% to $68,445, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries climbed 8.8 basis points to 4.416%.
In corporate news, JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) plans to launch a private credit fund allowing investors to redeem 7.5% of shares each quarter, Bloomberg reported. The proposed JPMorgan Public and Private Credit Fund awaits approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission to allow monthly share repurchases of at least 2%, potentially giving investors more frequent access to liquidity, the report said. JPMorgan ( JPM ) shares were down 1.3%.
