The Philadelphia Housing Index rose 0.6%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) climbed 1%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) shed 0.3% to $74,210, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries fell 4.1 basis points to 4.256%.
In corporate news, Carlyle (CG) has attracted $1.5 billion in the first round of fundraising for its Carlyle Asset-Backed Income Fund from pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional investors, Bloomberg reported. Carlyle shares gained 4.3%.
