01:17 PM EDT, 06/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were advancing in Friday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index increasing 0.3% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) adding 0.5%.

The Philadelphia Housing Index was up 0.3%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) climbed 1%.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was increasing 0.8% to $60,083, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was shedding 1.7 basis points to 4.375%.

In corporate news, KKR (KKR) has signed an agreement with EDF under which it has irrevocably undertaken to acquire the operations and assets of EDF Power Solutions in the US and Canada, EDF said Friday. KKR shares were down 0.9%.
