Sector Update: Financial Stocks Advance Premarket Monday

09:23 AM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were advancing premarket Monday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) over 1% higher recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was up 3% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 3% lower.

Deutsche Bank ( DB ) fired 111 senior managers in its retail and private wealth business on Monday, the Financial Times reported, as the company aims to reduce its cost-to-income ratio to between 60% and 65% in 2025. Deutsche Bank ( DB ) shares were up 2% pre-bell.

Tradeweb Markets ( TW ) shares were 0.7% lower after the company said it is working with the Tokyo Stock Exchange to improve liquidity access for institutional investors in Japanese exchange-traded funds.
