The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 3.8% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 4.1%.

Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) has agreed to acquire a portfolio of rental housing assets in Madrid from Blackstone (BX) for a gross purchase price of about 1.20 billion euros ($1.38 billion), media reports said. Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) stock was up more than 1% pre-bell.

FactSet Research Systems ( FDS ) stock was up more than 4% after the company posted higher fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue, and raised its fiscal 2026 outlook.

BlackRock ( BLK ) is exploring HSBC's ( HSBC ) skyscraper in Canary Wharf, among other sites, for its new headquarters in London, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with the matter. HSBC ( HSBC ) shares were up more than 2% premarket.
