The Philadelphia Housing Index was easing 0.3%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was increasing 0.1%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 3.5% to $95,065, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 3 basis points to 4.14%.
In corporate news, KKR-owned (KKR) Janney Montgomery Scott is nearing a deal to sell its division advising depository institutions along with its institutional equities business to Brean Capital, Bloomberg reported. KKR shares were down 0.8%.
JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) has expanded in Dubai in a bid to grow its business with medium-sized companies in the Middle East and beyond, Reuters reported, citing an executive. "There's a global focus on doing more in the midcap space," Stefan Povaly, the bank's London-based co-head of corporate banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, told the news agency. JPMorgan ( JPM ) shares were shedding 1.7%.
Live Oak Acquisition V (LOKV) has agreed with Teamshares (TMS) to merge and advance its plan to scale as a public company, Teamshares said Friday. Live Oak shares were down 0.5%.
