09:21 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks declined pre-bell Wednesday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.7% lower recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was down 1.9% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 2.3% higher.

TPG (TPG) shares were down more than 2% after the company said a secondary public offering of 21 million of its class A shares was priced at $47.25 per share.

FinVolution Group ( FINV ) shares rose past 4% after the company reported higher Q1 non-GAAP earnings and revenue.

CFSB Bancorp ( CFSB ) shares advanced by over 75% after the company said it has agreed to be acquired by Hometown Financial Group in a deal valued at about $44 million.
