The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was up 0.7% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 1% lower.

Prudential (PUK) was up more than 7% after it said Sunday it launched a $2 billion share buyback program and is starting the first $700 million tranche.
