Sector Update: Financial Stocks Edge Higher Premarket Friday

09:17 AM EST, 11/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were edging higher premarket Friday as the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) recently advanced by 0.1%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was up 0.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 0.2% lower.

Abacus Life ( ABL ) shares fell past 9% after the company priced an underwritten public offering of 12.5 million common shares at $8 apiece.

Lufax Holding ( LU ) shares were down nearly 2% after the company said Gregory Dean Gibb has retired from the role of co-chief executive officer to dedicate more time to personal matters.

Morgan Stanley ( MS ) opened its new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore's downtown business district this week, media outlets reported. Morgan Stanley ( MS ) shares were up 0.1% premarket.
