Sector Update: Financial Stocks Lean Lower Pre-Bell Tuesday

09:13 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks leaned lower pre-bell Tuesday as the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) declined by 0.2% recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was down 0.9% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 1% higher.

FinVolution Group ( FINV ) shares rose by over 9% after the company reported higher Q4 non-GAAP net profit and revenue. The company also said its board authorized a new share repurchase program of up to $150 million and increased the annual dividend to $0.277 per American depositary share.

UP Fintech Holding ( TIGR ) shares advanced by over 2% after the company reported higher Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue.

Radian Group ( RDN ) said its Radian Guaranty unit issued a line of credit of up to $1 million to the Philadelphia Accelerator Fund, a nonprofit loan fund. Radian Group ( RDN ) shares were down 0.2% premarket.
