The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was down 1.1% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 1.5% higher.

MetLife ( MET ) is closing in on a deal to purchase PineBridge's assets outside of China from Pacific Century Group, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. MetLife ( MET ) shares were unchanged pre-bell.

Camden National ( CAC ) shares were up 0.6% after the company said it has received all regulatory clearances to complete the merger with Northway Financial.

Arch Capital Group ( ACGL ) said it has renewed its share repurchase authorization of $1.0 billion, which may be effected from time to time in open market or privately negotiated transactions. Arch Capital Group ( ACGL ) shares were unchanged premarket.
