The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was down 0.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 0.3% higher.

Toronto-Dominion Bank ( MLWIQXX ) shares were down 1.8% after the bank priced a public offering of $750 million of its 7.25% fixed rate reset limited recourse capital notes, series 4, due July 31, 2084.

Brookfield (BN) has signed a share purchase agreement with Impala and other shareholders to acquire roughly 53% of the outstanding shares of Neoen, a French renewable energy producer, for 39.9 euros ($42.8) per share, Neoen said. Brookfield was up 1.2% pre-bell.
