Sector Update: Financial Stocks Lean Lower Premarket Tuesday

09:18 AM EST, 02/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks leaned lower premarket Tuesday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) recently declining marginally.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was down 0.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 0.6% higher.

PayPal Holdings ( PYPL ) shares fell past 8% even after the company reported higher Q4 non-GAAP earnings and net revenue.

KKR (KKR) shares declined by nearly 3% after the company reported a decline in Q4 revenue.

Apollo Global Management ( APO ) shares were down nearly 3% after the company reported a lower Q4 revenue.
