The Philadelphia Housing Index was falling 1.2%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was down 0.6%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 1.1% to $70,346, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries jumped 14.1 basis points to 4.42%.
In economic news, the May employment report showed nonfarm payrolls rose by 272,000, above the 180,000 jobs increase expected in a survey compiled by Bloomberg.
In corporate news, Bakkt ( BKKT/WS ) is mulling a potential sale amid a spike in crypto-related takeover activity, Bloomberg reported. Its shares spiked 2.1%.
