The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares ( FAS ) was up 0.3% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares ( FAZ ) was 0.5% lower.

Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) has agreed to sell its Australian retirement home operator Aveo for 3.85 billion Australian dollars ($2.52 billion) to The Living Company, multiple media outlets reported, citing Brookfield. Shares of Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) were up more than 1% premarket.

Apollo Global Management ( APO ) shares were 0.3% higher after the company said certain funds managed by its affiliates have agreed to sell their stakes in MAFTEC Group to funds managed by Advantage Partners.

BlackRock ( BLK ) shares were up 0.3% after the company said it has been selected by Great Gray Trust to provide retirement funds that allocate across public and private markets, including both private equity and private credit exposures.
