08:58 AM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks were steady premarket Thursday with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) and iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) recently inactive.

Walgreens Boots Alliance ( WBA ) fell by more than 19% after reporting fiscal Q3 adjusted net earnings of $0.63 per diluted share, down from $1.00 a year earlier. The company also lowered its fiscal 2024 adjusted earnings forecast.
