The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) gained 1.5%.

In sector news, Cingulate ( CING ) shares skyrocketed nearly 170% after it said Thursday it received a European patent for ead candidate CTx-1301 to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
