01:47 PM EDT, 04/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks advanced Friday afternoon with the NYSE Health Care Index rising 1.3% and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) climbing 1.9%.

The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) gained 3.1%.

In corporate news, CeriBell ( CBLL ) shares jumped 35%. The company said it was insulated from US tariffs until at least Q4.
