08:59 AM EDT, 05/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks were steady premarket Friday with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) up 0.2% and iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) recently inactive.

Iovance Biotherapeutics ( IOVA ) shares fell nearly 36% after the company lowered its 2025 product revenue guidance. The company also posted a wider Q1 loss and lower revenue versus analysts' estimates.
