08:58 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks were flat to lower pre-bell Wednesday as the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) was unchanged and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) was down 0.6% recently.

Medtronic ( MDT ) shares fell by 0.2% after the company issued its fiscal 2026 outlook for non-GAAP earnings per share below analysts' expectations.
