01:36 PM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks declined Friday afternoon, with the NYSE Health Care Index shedding 0.2% and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) down 0.1%.

The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) fell 0.6%.

In corporate news, IBio ( IBIO ) shares dropped 8% after the company filed on Friday a preliminary prospectus for the sale of up to around 11.3 million shares by certain shareholders.
