Eli Lilly ( LLY ) said it has agreed to acquire Verve Therapeutics ( VERV ) for up to $1.3 billion to advance gene-editing therapies for cardiovascular disease. Verve Therapeutics ( VERV ) shares were up more than 75% pre-bell.
