The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) fell 1.7%.

In corporate news, the US Federal Trade Commission moved to prevent Edwards Lifesciences ( EW ) from acquiring JenaValve Technology, Edwards said on Wednesday. Edwards shares decreased 0.5%.
