03:25 PM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks edged higher late Tuesday afternoon, with the NYSE Health Care Index adding 0.1% and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) up 0.2%.

The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) shed 0.6%.

In corporate news, Eli Lilly ( LLY ) said Tuesday it plans to build a $6.5 billion facility to make active pharmaceutical ingredients in Houston, Texas. Its shares were down 1.3%.
