The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) eased 0.1%.

In corporate news, Neurocrine Biosciences ( NBIX ) on Monday agreed to acquire Soleno Therapeutics ( SLNO ) in a deal worth $2.9 billion, as the biopharmaceutical firm aims to expand its endocrinology and rare disease portfolio. Neurocrine shares were up 0.1%, and Soleno jumped 32%.
