Sector Update: Health Care Stocks Advance Pre-Bell Tuesday

09:15 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks were advancing pre-bell Tuesday, with the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) and The Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) 0.5% higher.

Hims & Hers Health ( HIMS ) shares were up past 8% after the company swung to Q3 earnings as revenue rose during the period. The company also raised its fiscal 2024 revenue guidance.

Bruker ( BRKR ) stock was down more than 5% after the company reported lower Q3 non-GAAP earnings and cut its fiscal 2024 outlook.

Inspire Medical Systems ( INSP ) shares were up over 2% after the company swung to Q3 earnings amid higher revenue and the company lifting its fiscal 2024 guidance.
