Sector Update: Health Care Stocks Advance Premarket Friday

09:11 AM EDT, 10/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks were advancing premarket Friday, with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLV ) and iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) up 0.2%.

Nurix Therapeutics ( NRIX ) shares were down more than 8% after the company reported a wider fiscal Q3 net loss and lower revenue.

CVS Health's ( CVS ) Aetna unit has more than 81% of members in top-rated programs, and UnitedHealth ( UNH ) has 78%, according to the US government's 2026 quality ratings, Reuters reported, citing data released by the government. CVS Health ( CVS ) shares were nearly 2% higher premarket.

OrthoPediatrics ( KIDS ) stock was down more than 11% after the company said it now expects 2025 revenue of $233.5 million to $234.5 million, below its prior guidance of $237 million to $242 million.
