In corporate news, Ocugen ( OCGN ) shares surged 25%, a day after a federal appeals court upheld a lower-court decision, dismissing allegations of misleading shareholders with its statements about a prospective COVID-19 vaccine and its approvals in the US.
Cutera ( CUTR ) shares plunged almost 30%, a day after the company said its Q4 loss widened to $2.27 per diluted share from $0.40 a year earlier. Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected a loss of $1.11.
Auna (AUNA) shares debuted on the New York Stock Exchange at $9.51, below the initial public offering price of $12. The stock tumbled 19% in recent trading.
