The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) declined 0.3%.

In corporate news, Beyond Air ( XAIR ) shares tumbled 51%, a day after the company reported a bigger-than-expected fiscal Q4 net loss.

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals ( ALNY ) shares gained 7.7%, a day after the company said vutrisiran, an investigational therapy for treating ATTR amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy, met its primary and secondary endpoints in a late-stage study.

ZimVie ( ZIMV ) is considering an outright company sale, among other options, Bloomberg reported. ZimVie ( ZIMV ) shares surged 23%.

Sanofi ( SNY ) called for initial bids for its $20 billion consumer health business, Bloomberg reported. Sanofi ( SNY ) shares added 2.4%.
